Digital forensics (sometimes known as digital forensic science) is a branch of forensic science encompassing the recovery and investigation of material found in digital devices, often in relation to computer crime (Source: wikipedia).


These days, digital are parts of our daily routine. Digital devices are everywhere, such as smartphone, computer, tablets, laptops; you name it, they all are in digital forms. In order to answer the needs of handling Digital Forensic; a special laboratory for specific purpose is mandatory. In this lab, there will be devices to extract and secure digital information from alleged device. This information will be used later as evidence.


The technical aspect of an investigation is divide into several sub-branches, relating to the type of digital devices involved; computer forensic, network forensic, forensic data analysis and mobile device forensic (smartphone, tablets etc).
